I’m alive!

a photo I took about two months ago. reconnecting!

Well well well. It’s been a solid 7 months since I last posted to The Electric Oracle; for that I am very sorry. I doubt anyone was too heartbroken about my absence, but lack of consistency is irritating.

If you’ve been following me on social media, you’ll have seen that (a) I’m far more active on Twitter and Instagram than anywhere else, (b) I do still make YouTube videos occasionally, and (c) photography is my main interest right now. I absolutely love photography; I’m pretty definite it’s what I want to pursue in the future. I’m still not sure if I want to be a photographer, per se, but I know it’s the field I want to work in. You can follow my efforts at http://www.instagram.com/clodafoto.

Enough about me! How are all of you? I really hope you’re happy and healthy as can be. Do leave a comment down below, I’d love to hear from you.

I may or may not do a few more written posts on here over the coming weeks; photography really is my main focus right now. No promises, but I’m not saying no to anything either.

Thanks for reading this (arguably unnecessary) ramble!

Love and luck,

Clodagh X

optic (iv) | melting mazes

Would you believe it, the snow has returned to Ireland! This happens so rarely that I had to document it.

This period of time also marks the beginning of the end of my college career; perhaps the title ‘melting mazes’ has a double meaning. I hope that this is the end of so much confusion, doubt and entrapment. I didn’t enjoy my chosen degree at all.

I know that leaving college will probably bring even more uncertainty my way, but let’s cross that bridge when we come to it…

And, of course, happy belated St. Patrick’s Day! Or as we say in the Irish language, ‘Lá ‘le Pádraig sona daoibh’ (law leh paw-drig sun-ah deev).

Love and luck,

Clodagh X

optic (iii) | unexpected heaven

Snow and the month of March do not go hand in hand (in Ireland, anyway), but over the past week the whole country has been blanketed in white. Personally I adore snow, hence the title above. Who knows when we’ll see it again?

optic (i) – ages

As you may remember, I said I was going to start posting ‘photosets’ more often. Well, here we are! I’ve decided to call the series ‘optic’. The following pictures were taken at Blessington Lakes, just outside Dublin (Ireland).

‘ages’ ; nature, lifetime, the nature of life.

five hundred of you | something different

I’ve gone through about 14 clichés trying to come up with an introduction to this post. THANK YOU FOR 500! As always, I never ever expected to gain any kind of following when I started The Electric Oracle, so to see it grow like this is wonderful.

To celebrate this milestone (of sorts), I’ve put together something a little bit different…

I thought it would be nice to ~expand my horizons~, so there you have it! I won’t necessarily be making videos on a regular basis, but I enjoyed putting this one together + I hope you enjoy watching it just as much. I mean, it’s shoddily edited and very very cringeworthy, but hey. Life is too short to care, “those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind” etc etc etc. If you make it to the end of the video, I applaud you.

Love, luck & gratitude,

Clodagh X

three hundred of you + see Ireland with me | update

Am I gonna make one of these posts every time I hit a ‘milestone’ with followers? Yes, yes I am. I’m a firm believer in expressing gratitude. Tonight we hit three hundred! I cannot thank you all enough for engaging with me – although I say this all the time, I expected literally 4 people to be reading The Electric Oracle, so to have even surpassed 100 followers in the space of three weeks is wonderful. ❤

In other news, I’m going on holidays tomorrow! Nowhere exotic, just Donegal (the northwest of Ireland). However, I know a lot of you aren’t from Ireland, so I thought it’d be fun to bring you with me (kind of). I’ll be updating my snapchat as much as possible while I’m there; I won’t have frequent access to wifi so the posts may be a slightly inconsistent, but still. If you’d like to see a beautiful part of Ireland, do follow me on snapchat – my username is electric_oracle, or you can scan the snapcode on the righthand side of this page.

I probably won’t be posting on here next week, what with the dodgy wifi, so I shall bid you farewell for now! I hope you’re all as healthy and happy as can be.

Love and luck,

Clodagh X
